World Mental Health Day

Today is World Mental Health Day 2020

Can we all just take a little time to think about ourselves and those close to us?

Life can be tough, many challenges arise, sometimes expected, sometimes out of the blue.

We can also feel worn down by the day to day difficulties, worries and problems of life.

But whatever we are facing it is really important to remember that we are not alone and that change is possible.  Things do not stay the same, they haven’t always been as they are today and they will soon change again.

Remember to reach out, talk, ask for support, offer your help to someone else, take time to appreciate the beautiful people and things around you and know that others care about and for you.  Even if you do not have friends or family close you can make new friends and create connections even though it can be hard.  If you are unsure how to start but know you need to make a change then reach out to us at Hartlepool and East Durham Mind and let’s see where we can go…

Today we are attaching two short videos of Glynis and Tracey reading two beautiful poems with lovely messages within them.  Both are part of the H&ED Mind Team and along with the rest of us would love you to get in touch.

Take care and we’ll speak again soon
