Together we are Stronger Fundraising Campaign

Together we are Stronger Fundraising Campaign

Today, as our second lock down begins, we are launching our Together we are Stronger campaign. With the aim of raising £30,000 toward core running costs over the coming few months and reminding everyone that we are here and that help is available.

In these tough times, we are working extra hard to ensure no one feels alone with their problems, making sure we are here to offer a warm and friendly response as well as practical support for the issues many are facing.

To keep going, to make sure the people of Hartlepool, East Durham and beyond feel connected and to keep us all safe we need to keep meeting our costs.  And so, this campaign is asking for your support.  Can you donate money to help us with our work?

We appreciate it is a blunt and direct question but, right now, we all need to help each other in which ever ways we can. A second lock down during the cold winter months is going to be very tough for many people who are already struggling.  Higher unemployment, increased costs and less social contact could be absolutely devastating. So please, if you can, donate to this appeal.

Any amount would be amazing, you can do it direct through our Virgin Money Giving button on our web site home page, or by calling our main office 01429 269303 or by 07498 162428 for more ways to give.

However, if that isn’t possible right now could you think about some form of fundraising activity to generate money for us?  A sponsored walk, run or cycle, an event or collection (we know it’s tough with contact restrictions).  All contributions will be hugely appreciated and contribute to our target of £30,000 by the end of January to support core costs and keep people talking.  Just let us know what you are planning and stay in touch - we will try to promote you too!

Sorry to be a pain but all donations need to be to “Hartlepool & East Durham Mind” or the money won’t come to our organisation or local people, just get in touch for details. “Keep your local Mind in Mind”

But please remember if this is not possible, we understand and we continue to be here for you and yours, no matter what.
